America's Army: Special Forces (Overmatch) v2.8.3 has just been officially released by the America's Army Game Project and affiliated download partners, including ourselves.
"This release highlights the feedback received by our online community. Many adjustments have been made to increase system and game play performance for faster load times. One of the better fixes in this release was decreasing the size of our installer; making download times much shorter for the user. Speaking of downloads, the new 'AA Loader' introduced in this version provides you with version checking software that lets you know whether your version needs to be updated. Checkout the ArmyOpsReadMe.txt (ReadMe file) for more details on this maintenance release!"

That's right, folks! We have been hard at work to make it possible; now offering the game via download. America's Army: Special Forces (Overmatch) v2.8.3 will be released tomorrow (January 31, 2008) at 3PM EST (which is when it will be available from our download section).
